A load of old Twaddle
Reports from North of the Border have linked Dale with a move for Falkirk defender Marc Twaddle.
That bastion of Dale rumours the Falkirk Herald has suggested that Dale were in talks with the Bairns with a view to securing a move South for Twaddle, with a move possible before the end of this week.
Twaddle is a primarily a left back according to profiles, though he has the ability to be pushed further forward and play as a left wing back. The 6'1 defender started his career at Rangers, before spells with Falkirk and Partick Thistle.
The 24 year old still has one year left on his contract with the Bairns, so a move to Dale could involve a cash transfer.
