Your Personal Goal Of The Season

The official club award for goal of the season went to Tadanari Lee for his strike against Derby County, but what was everyones favourite and for what different reasons.

Goals of the season usually have some of the following ingredients in them, individual run, slick passing movement and blistering shot from distance, Tadanari Lee's effort certainly had the latter as it zoomed in from distance, but as great as it was, was it really the goal of the season when we way up a few other things, like importance of the goal or various other reasons.

Of course there will be those who still pick Tadanari Lee, but personally as great as the goal was, I have to say i enjoyed a lot of our other goals more for many reasons, Rickie Lambert's header at Fratton Park, David Connolly's winner at Barnsley, Lambert's winner at Leeds, or both his goals at Palace come to that, then there is Billy Sharp, his goals were rarely spectacular, but they were vital, I cant think i enjoyed a Saints goal more than either his 2nd against Pompey that for a brief minute looked like it had robbed them of a draw and then his deft touch for the first against Coventry that truly made us all realise we were on the road back to the Premier and their would be no slip ups.

So with no offence intended to Tadanari Lee who definately hit one of the most stunning of the season, what goal was your personal favourite and for what reasons, not necessarily footballing ones either, perhaps there was one on your birthday or it was your son/daughters first ever game, lets see a view views and opinions down below to remind us all about some of the seasons great moments, remember there is no right or wrong answer on this one, just pure enjoyment of some great goals.
