Paul Simmonds At The Talking heads
Paul Simmonds from The Men They Couldnt Hang and Tom Hingley ex Inspiral Carpets are at the Talking heads.
On Sunday 26th August a great night is in store for those who head down to the Talking heads in Portswood, firstly Paul Simmonds of The Men They Couldnt Hang is going to showcase his new album material, Paul has written many great songs about the City of Southampton, so it will be interesting to see if this great City has influenced any of his solo work.
Also on is Tom Hingley who many will remember as the singer from the Inspiral Carpets, he is also known as the man who gave Noel Gallagher his break in the music business by offering him a job as Inspirals roadie, to some this will be a great moment in rock history, others will merely feel like going down to the TH & paying him back, however they should refrain from doing so, because it should be an interesting night in a great venue with two influential guys from the 80's/90's showing they can still move with the times.
Tickets are £5 in advance from the venue or on the door for a little extra.
