Smudger Op A Success
Smudger Given 4 to 6 Weeks - Again
Home > Story Index >Smudger's Op "A Success" |
Jason Smith has undergone the latest operation and has been told that he could return to action within 4-6 weeks according to physio Richard Evans. |
Now I may be cynical about most things at Swansea City these days but Richard Evans said the same thing on 17th July and we next saw Smudger in October at Luton - must be the longest six weeks in history. |
Evans also went onto say on the club's official web-site " The Surgeon discovered some floating bone, and there was some soft tissue impinging on the ankle joint, which has all been removed. Dr Winson feels that the operation has been successful" |
Jason has played just 8 games since orginally damaging his knee against Brentford last February in an LDV tie, which the Swans lost 3-2. With the impending sale of Matthew Bound, it leaves Colin Addison with few options at centre back as the Swans battle against a low position in Division Three. |
