"His first goal at Billericay relaxed him and tonight's header was a typical goalscorers goal because he was in the right place at the right time.

"Football makes the decision who plays, but he is slowly working his way into contention for a League place.

"I'm delighted to get through,'' he added. "There's no better feeling than winning a football match, especially coming on the back of our FA Cup success on Saturday.

"Yeovil put out a strong side, but we played some good football at times, worked hard and defended very well when we had to.

"Everyone is eyeing the fantastic prize of Wembley, but there is still a long way to go. It will be nice to see how far we can go, but the key is to take one step at a time.

"It's pleasing though that all the hard work we put in during the early rounds is starting to pay off.''
