Reading Boss Tips Swans For Hull Repeat

Reading manager Steve Coppell believes the Swans are capable of 'doing a Hull' after the game at the Liberty

Coppell was powerless to prevent Swansea City winning again and moving up the Championship table with their 10th unbeaten game.

Goals from Jason Scotland and Andrea Orlandi gave the Swans a maximum return for the second week running and closed the gap on the play off pack to just four points.

And Coppell now believes that the Swans can repeat the feat of Hull who won promotion through the play offs last season.  "Hull came through last season after going on a remarkable run, Swansea are well capable of doing that" he said after the game.

"I don't see any reason why Swansea can't continue their current run, they are well capable of getting into the play-offs.

"It's a real positive time here and compliments to Roberto and the way his team plays.

"Roberto has got a team who are playing well; they are getting good results and full credit to him for that.

"I have to accept that on the day Swansea were the better team and won the game.

"They play really good football and, on their day, very effective football. We have to accept that and start getting ourselves ready for the next game."
