Dyer Looks To Keep Up Performance Standards
Nathan Dyer wants to keep up his high level of performances but admits the odd goal would not go amiss
The Swansea City man is a leading contender for this season's player of the year award after a series of top notch performances have helped lift the Swans into 2nd place in the Championship table.
If there was one frustration though he has not scored since August when he netted against Preston at the Liberty but he is happy so long as he maintains his level of performance.
Dyer told the Western Mail “Ronaldo still works on things in training so nobody can say they don’t need to improve, but hopefully I’ll get there
“It was all about consistency with me. I started to play well last year but faded off towards the end of the season.
“This year I wanted to make sure I put performances in both home and away.
“I’ve not scored as many goals as I would like to and it’s frustrating at times.
“But I never let it worry me because that’s when performances start to dip and I don’t want that.
“There’s a lot more to come from me, improving every aspect of my game and getting more goals is one I’m working on at the moment.
“When I can start adding that to my game I’ll be even happier but it’s not just that. It’s every aspect, like working on my weaker foot and every player should be the same.
“Brendan is a big help, I do extras with him after training him and coaches give us time to work on certain things.”
