London Clubs Eye City Midfielders
West Ham United and Tottenham are considering making a move for two of City's midfielder's.
West Ham are keen are taking former Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell to Upton Park in the summer. The 22 year old has only made 23 appearances since arriving for £12 million in August 2012, only ten have been starting roles after being plagued by injury since signing form Everton. Rodwell was subject to a failed loan bid from his former club in the January transfer window.
Another midfielder attracting interest is Emyr Huws who currently on at loan at Championship side Birmingham City. The 20 year old who is being watched by Tottenham has made just one brief appearance for City in the 5-0 win over Blackburn, but has impressed in his five appearances for Birmingham City winning man of the match twice. Huws has also just been called up to the Wales squad for the up coming fixture against Iceland on March 5. Huws deal at Birmingham has just been extended and will remain at St Andrews for the remainder of the season.
