Today's The Day?

Surely today is the day when we will finally confirm the deal that sees Ben Davies and Michel Vorm go to Tottenham and Gylfi Sigurdsson return to the Liberty as part of the same transfer triple move.

Given the fact that Ben has already been seen training with Spurs and Vorm is already talking like a Tottenham player it only remains for Gylfi to be seen tucking into his rissole and chips at Rossis and we have the triple confirmation of the deal although all of them are unofficial.

Yesterday's reports included pictures of Ben in training action with Spurs in Seattle after he joined up with their squad last weekend for a medical. He has been rumoured to want away with Swans after the interest started in him last month and it looks as if this is definitely happening although it would be nice to have official confirmation of the deal although I suspect we will never know the finer points of the deal.

And last night Vorm made the comments that said "Every club has two top goalkeepers in their squad,

"It suits the club's philosophy that there are two of us with Hugo and me. Especially when we see that Tottenham is active in a lot of competitions."

Vorm was speaking to De Telegraf about the potential move and again we have a suggestion that this is a done deal although again - as with Ben - neither side is officially confirming the moves just yet.

Sigurdsson was reported by Sky Sports yesterday as being in Swansea for a medical so you would hope that this is now completed and that the final piece in the jigsaw is completed and both sides can make the announcement that the fans are waiting for.

This triple move seems to have dragged on for weeks now so it would definitely be good to get it all completed and all three players can move on with their futures assured and the shape of two squads looking more complete.

Today is the day. Surely?
