Reading v QPR Betting Preview

Brian Power surveys the weekend market for value, and dares to chuck some money at the big yawning black hole that is Queens Park Rangers.

A busy old day at LFW towers, for future reference if the match preview isn’t online my midday on Friday it means something’s afoot! Anyway onto the betting column, Brian is down £125 on the season and on his own again this week as The Don drowns under a workload similar to that of a QPR website editor. We’re hoping to have a partner in crime for him next week – I just haven’t told Barry about that yet, Facebook message on its way mate!

We had a non runner last week and so only lost £35 which is kind of a result. It is a bit like saying you have gone on a date with one of Girls Aloud but you fail to mention it is with the miserable ginger one. This week game at Reading had all the makings of a nightmare even before we sacked another manager. They have a fantastic home record. We have a poor away one and couldn’t get a shot on target against a defender playing in goal. I think it will be an away defeat but as I can’t back against my team I will stick with Lee Cook for first goal at good odds. If you are not at the game and we are getting a battering turn over to Harry Hills TV Burp the funniest thing I have seen on TV since Kerry Katona’s performance on This Morning. Mum’s gone to Iceland should now be Mum’s been to Threshers. For legal reasons I do have to say that Ms Katona was sober during her appearance but have a look on You Tube and decide for yourself. I will also have a Lucky 15 on the big racing here and stateside

For the weekend:

£10 Lee Cook 1st goal 22/1 Coral

Racing Post Trophy Jukebox Jury 11/4
Breeders Cup Dirt Mile Lewis Michael 11/2
Breeders Cup Juvenile Square Eddie 9/2
Breeders Cup Classic Curling 5/2
And a £15 single on Curling
All Coral

£10 accum at Skybet
Man Utd 8/13 Darlington 10/11 Gillingham 4/5 Man C 1/2
