Virgin Media Subsidise Ticket Prices For Athletico Bilbao Friendly

New Saints shirt sponsors Virgin Media have shown their commitment to the club by subsidising ticket prices for the pre season friendly at St Mary's on Sunday 7th August against Athletico Bilbao.

The home pre season friendly against foreign opposition on the weekend before the league season starts has become a tradition, also a tradition has been that the prices are kept to a minimum so that those who cannot normally afford to attend many games at the stadium can afford to go to this one.

This year is no different, however season ticket holders and members will get extra value for their outlay with the advantage of even cheaper tickets with the cost being underwritten by new shirt sponsors Virgin Media.

This is new, never before have a shirt sponsor got interactive with the supporter base in this manner, previously its merely been a case of our sponsors paying their money for the privilege of having their name emblazoned across the shirt and that has been it.

The game against the Spanish club is scheduled for Sunday 7th August with a 3pm kick off and will give most Saints supporters the first opportunity to see the clubs summer signings.

The full prices for adults will be £12 with club members paying £10 and season ticket holders £8.

The full ticket details are below courtesy of the clubs official website.

Season Ticket holders have until 8.30am on Friday 22nd July to claim their seat. Please note that, during this window, sales will be restricted to one ticket per Season Ticket holder.

Tickets will go on sale in the following order:
Tuesday 19th July (9am): Season Ticket holders
Friday 22nd July (9am): Official Members
Tuesday 26th July (9am): General sale
