Ralph Hasenhuttl Gives Injury Update For Trip To Norwich City
Ralph Hasenhuttl had a few injury concerns in his Southampton squad at the start of the International break with James Ward Prowse, Tino Livramento, Armando Broja & Nathan Redmond all with injuries or illness at the start of last week, find out here who has passed muster.
The International break came at a good time for Saints in many respects, they had several members of the squad with issues around their fitness, Nathan Redmond had Covid 19, Armando Broja an ankle injury, James Ward Prowse an unspecified niggle and Tino Livramento was just plain fatigued after playing 11 straight Premier League games after having no previous first team experience at Chelsea.
But Ralph Hasenhuttl has confirmed that all will be fit to take on Norwich City and Dean Smith whom we last saw at St Mary's two weeks ago.
Ralph had this to say:
"We are not much different to the past, we have only Jack Stephens out — everyone else is fit.
"There were only a few issues that we had, but everyone is fit and everybody is on the pitch.”
That's good news for Saints supporters who will be hoping that the side can make it three wins in a row in the Premier League at bottom placed Norwich, Tino Livramento, Armando Broja and Nathan Redmond were all pictured in the first training session of the week to give Saints fans hope they were all fit , with James Ward-Prowse joining the following day.
