England v Serbia last night Β£25 Adult, Β£12.50 Kids tickets 13:00 - Nov 14 with 1388 viewsOakR

So I went to watch the England game at Wembley yesterday, first time I've been to an England game since the old Wembley was knocked down I think.

My son's been dying to go, so I had a look at the prices, whilst expensive everywhere else (I was only looking last week) family tickets were Β£25 for adults, and Β£12.50 for kids, so I took one of his friends as well. Β£50 all in for 3 of us.

Seats were good as well, behind the goal Saka scored in. Kids loved it, got to see Kane, Saka, Eze (great goal!)., Belligham, Stones, Pickford etc For me I got to see these players I'd never really see live which was good - Kane is a great player to watch at a stadium not on TV, his passing range is unbelievable, and to see players like Anderson who might not have shown up much in the highlights but I thought looked really good.

Anyway, next international break, if you have kids, a good option if prices are like this again.

Glad you and your boy had a good time of it. Lovely to see Eze score a blinder.

If you ever fancy chancing it, you can usually pick up cheap tickets in The Green Man. So many ESTC members buy tickets just for the caps with no interest in going, so you've got people basically giving them away beforehand.

I rememebr the Green Man from when I used to work that way for 6 months - you'd think if you were in the Green Man you'd just go - could understand a but more if you were up North for a mifweek game.

Good tip, but based on the Jubilee line journey to Baker Street that would sort any boxers weighing issues out, I think I'd have to have the certainty of a ticket before travelling!

Going back to your ESTC point, many many moons ago when I did (in a junior role) ticketing for England Members as it was called then, to get round the buying tickets for away games to get points but no intention of going, people had to provide evidence of travel to away games as well as purchasing the tickets - most of it was all paper based. I can't remenber now if the idea for doing this came from England supporters who went to games, or from within, but it made for a lenghty process.
