Every other year would be the smart way to do it, means that even if you just miss the cut off and feel like you got screwed, you'll be fine next year. Raising it a year every year just means people just missing out continue to do so.

I don't think it's any more complicated than:
1. The lighter shinpads, boots whatever make them a fraction better at their jobs in an profession where every fraction counts
2. Nobody likes getting hurt
I dont really understand it myself, never felt like shinpads or big clunky boots did me any harm, but then again I was pretty sht. Maybe it was the boots all along  |

Ramsey is directly credited by Eze, along with Paul Hall and Andy Impey, as being a reason he joined the club, and was subsequently a key figuring in making him the player he is today. Ditto Illias Chair.
So feel free to use the words waste of space, charlatan and incompetent if you want, but whenever he leaves he will do so having brought significantly more to the club than he took away

The fact that your automatic assumption is that a person getting a job at a significantly larger and more successful organization is because of the way they see the color of her skin or gender rather than the way they see her ability her ability says significantly more about you than it does her. Luke Freeman is probably the "both parties regret it" answer in recent times but if you consider what we actually got for him I've always thought Smithies is one we should have kept. |

That actually surprises me to be honest, every club in this league out of the 24 has been either relegated or promoted in the last decade? Shows how volatile and tightly grouped the division is IMO |

I would imagine he'll get a similar cameo at Coventry. How wonderful it feels to be going into the last game of the season with nothing to play for and the luxury of feeling like we can make some sentimental rather than results based decisions around selection. |
