Sadly thats the risk you take as a non season ticket holder, when the big games come along it is always going to be hit and miss with the best seats snapped up by season ticket holders. If you are not buying tickets for family and friends regularly then it is easy to not bothering linking people to your account until times like this and you only find out then that you need to link them |

The word Mush came from when the big liners used to sail from Southampton and were crewed mainly by people from here and Scousers. The southampton crew members were always called mush's by the scousers due to the fact that they always used to call people mush as in Alright Mush. It was never a word associated with people from Pompey, even though no doubt they may have also used the word |

Saw a link to this Dinlow, or dinlo, is the Romany word for an idiot or fool. It has also been incorporated in the rural dialects of some farming communities, such as Portsmouth in Hampshire, where there is a large gypsy population. A worzel overheard talking in a Portsmouth inn: "I are a right dinlow when I bin shanting." https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=dinlow |

The problem we have at the moment is that until we know what division we are in it is hard to make signings, I would suspect that we would not have gone for him anyway if we had gone up to the Premier League |

We wore it in 1976 at the Charity Shield, Liverpool played in white that day, back then you only changed colours if there was a clash |

It was actually one occasion when a bottle was thrown at the bus, as I said Liverpool had done it several times before that incident, but they derided for just doing it with many criticising the use of flares |

A lot of people seem to think we should have signed Viktor Johansson from Rotherham this summer as he is out of contract, but it seems Stoke have got in first |

When i praised Liverpool fans a few years ago for the way they greeted their own team coach ahead of European games, I was slagged off and told that they were a load of bin dipping hooligans and this behaviour was out of order. Now we have got in on the act it is the best thing ever. NB I brought this up before they had the bottle throwing incident against Man City

I agree about the black kit, in truth I think we should be able to play in our home shirts as they don't really clash with white, both sides changed kits at their away game in the League, but that was more about selling shirts. Liverpool wore their new kit, but that was because they were staying with Nike for the next season, so it makes sense to put out a bit of advertising. Given that we are changing kits we might well have to stick with Hummel assuming the contract runs till the end of the season. If we have to change kits then perhaps Puma could sort us out with a new away kit. |

I think the season ticket number is nearer 20,000, although there will be maybe 1,000 tickets allocated to club staff and sponsors etc. That should leave around 15,000 tickets for non season ticket holders, although as I have said in the home page article, at every home game we will have had at least 8,000 non season ticket holders in attendance and that will be on a revolving basis, also the Walsall & Watford cup ties saw a large amount of families and non regulars attend, so I would think we would get rid of the tickets ok |

I totally agree with your first paragraph, many people in football these days have grown up in a cocoon, shielded from the real world as they grew up in football club academies from an early age. However you would have thought that Postecoglou having managed Celtic for two years might have gained some insight having been involved with a few Old Firm games. |
