Kits for 2008-9: Shrewsbury
We've trawled the web and found another couple of new kits for you to examine with your best designer's head on. This time, we look at Paul Simpson's Shrewsbury Town.
As you can see from the images below, Shrewsbury have gone
down the traditional route of getting the players to appear in the kit. Though,
it must be said that they have also released two images of young ladies in the
new kit.
It would appear as part of the modelling deal, the two
players have been asked to pull their best Action Man pose, with the gentleman
in the home kit looking ready to pull a gun from his holster at any moment.
It would be assumed that a third kit will have to be issued
at one point, as both of these kits will clash with our home kit, something
different will be required for that particular game.
What to read next:
Swansea City : The confusing decision making for a whole season It was a pretty poor end to what can only be described as a disappointing football season for Swansea City. The defeat to Millwall yesterday was a display that has frustrated Swansea City supporters all season. A lack of effort, intensity and desire rewarding the home support with yet another home loss.
Swansea City : Grimes misses a penalty in a return to bad old ways An error strewn and tepid Swansea display ensured thousands left the stadium before the staff and players did their usual walk around at this end of season game. It wasn’t a good look as two players received red cards and any effort by the home side was lost in a static and frustrating display.
Gwyn’s Eye View : Swansea City v MillwallGlyn is back with his favourite stats as we build up to the last game of the season. That comes in the form of Millwall who it seems are close to selling their requested 1,148 allocation, so its down to the Jack Army to do their bit this bank holiday weekend.
