U18s Play Annual Friendly at Southwold
Town’s U18s are off to north Suffolk for their annual friendly against Southwold Town on the Common this evening (KO 6.30pm).
The game has been a regular feature of pre-season for some years now and is a good chance for those in the north of the county to watch the next generation of Town stars in action.
Meanwhile, we understand second-year scholar Nicolay Schrøder is currently in his native Norway where he is set to undergo surgery on a knee injury before returning to the club for rehabilitation.
Central defender Schrøder had his scholarship extended until January at the end of the season due to his injury problems and suffered his latest setback while on loan with Frigg Oslo over the summer.
U18s: Michael Crowe, Kyle Hammond, Joe Robinson, David October, Mark Timlin, Tom Winter, Shaun Meikle, Gunnar Thorsteinsson, Matt Clarke, Billy Cursons, Ed Ellis, Jacob Marsden, Zodel Brown.
