£500,000 - Beattie Joins From West Brom
Swansea City have confirmed the signing of Craig Beattie for an initial £500,000 from West Brom - a club record deal
The finalities of the move were complete this morning at the Liberty Stadium and Beattie should go straight into the squad to face Watford at home tomorrow.
The fee is a club record £500,000 with a further £300,000 potentially to be paid at a later date dependent on clauses in the contract.
Also included in the deal is a 20 per cent sell on clause for the Baggies for the man they paid over £1m for back in 2007.
The deal eclipses the previous club record fees - £400,000 for both Ashley Williams and Nathan Dyer.
