QPR v Sunderland Betting Preview

Andy Hillman is back to survey this weekend’s sporting coupon, and reflect on the success of another two successful tips in last week’s column.

It’s been a season of unprecedented success for the betting column and Andy kept up his flying form last weekend by backing QPR to score at least twice at St Mary’s at 12/5, and sticking that match in a BTTS treble with Spurs v Arsenal and Barcelona v Real Madrid.

Andy Hillman

Not sure whether my NAP of the week has a touch of the Clives about it - with a second in-form team busted at my hands last week - or whether we’re witnessing the start of the annual Cardiff meltdown. They were threatening to cross the line this time round, but they’re having a customary wobble... delighted that my other two came in though, with QPR scoring twice against Saints and a cheeky 4/1 BTTS accumulator as well...

NAP of the week: Newcastle to beat Stoke @ 17/20

Newcastle may have been pissballing around in Moscow this week, but they should have more than enough about them to beat a Stoke side that are the dictionary definition of ‘can’t be arsed, is the season over yet?’ Stoke have only won one in 12, and that was against Reading.

QPR related bet: Under 2.5 Goals @ 4/5

The stats are all over the place for this one - QPR’s last five home league games have all gone UNDER 2.5, Eight of Sunderland’s last nine away have gone OVER 2.5. QPR haven’t scored at home in the league since Boxing Day, Sunderland have conceded at least two goals in nine of their last 11 in all competitions. What is going to give? I reckon that this is going to end low scoring. Of course, Clive is almost certainly going to predict that this is going to be low scoring. Which means it’ll finish 4-4 (350/1 with Paddy Power...)

Longshot: FA Cup - all four home sides to win @ 7/1

FA Cup Sixth round weekend (when did it stop being the Quarter Final?) and I like the look of all four home sides to progress to the semi finals. Man City, Man Utd, Everton and Millwall to win is available at a little better than 7/1.

Cheltenham Festival: Sprinter Sacre to win @ Evens

Sprinter Sacre is a 1/4 shot to win the Queen Mother Champions Chase. But Coral are offering evens on the same to happen for stakes up to £20. In fact, just back him for £20 on Coral, and then lay him at the correct odds on Betfair for a guaranteed profit...
