Saints Identify Replacement If They Lose Lallana

Ronald Koeman is already making his plans for the start of a new era at St Mary's and should Saints lose Adam Lallana he already has his replacement in his sights.

If Adam Lallana shoul complete his move to Liverpool then his replacement is already in the sights of Ronald Koeman, allegedly the new Saints boss is looking at FC Twente midfielder Dusan Tadic.

Tadic has spent an impressive couple of seasons with Twente scoring 28 times in only 66 Eridivisie games for the club and is believed to be attracting interest from other European clubs.

The 25 year old Serbian has 25 caps for his country and can play in a number of positions although primarily he is an attacking left sided player able to play as a winger or a more conventional role in the middle of the park, like Lallana he is known for his dribbling skills.

Now Ronald Koeman is believed to be interested in the player although he will have stiff competition from other European sides with Sevilla in Spain also said to be in the running, the price tag is going to be around 10 million euros.

Tadic sounds to be the sort of player that Saints have been successful with in the transfer market recently, since their return to the Premier when they have paid a fee of £7-£10 million or so they have usually got an experienced player with a growing reputation as in Rodriguez, Lovren and Wanyama, thus the players have settled in well.

Fee's either side of that bracket though have been less of a success, when we have paid £3-4 million for relaitve unknowns like Mayuka and Forren we have failed, likewise our marque signings of Ramirez and Osvaldo.

Brave Swans in memorable game at Carrow Road
It was a pulsating game to watch and very much one of my favourite away games of the season. The Swans looked an entirely different side to that we saw at Middlesbrough when it is clear a catalyst for commitment was agreed behind the scenes at Swansea City. To a man every player grafted and wore the shirt with pride. To see the players really acknowledge the Swans support at Carrow Road this afternoon was emotional.
