TVOS: Rochdale v Colchester

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme — The Voice of Spotland — is back for Saturday’s League One fixture against Colchester United.

We start with a front cover image of defender Michael Rose, a former Colchester player, celebrating his equalising goal against their Essex rivals, Southend.

Keith Hill welcomes Colchester to Spotland and looks back at Saturday’s defeat at Swindon, while Peter Vincenti brings us a heart-felt article in his regular column, ‘Vincenti’s Voice’.

We continue our new series profiling every goalkeeper to have appeared for the club and take a look at the programme from a game against The U’s on the same weekend in 1988.

Action photos appear from the games against Oldham and Southend, while ‘Travellers Tales’ reports on that trip to Roots Hall.

‘On This Day’ features a pre-Christmas 5-1 win for Dale and Anorak’s Corner returns with a milestone that was achieved in our 0-0 draw at Bury in October.

Visitors Colchester United have eight pages of coverage, which includes a review of their best and worst kits and a numerical look at links between the clubs.

All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
