Swans And West Ham In Bony Link

You can always tell when the football season is coming to an end because the summer transfer rumours will start and that has happened today with the Swans and West Ham linked with a move for our former striker Wilfried Bony.

Bony was a massive hit for the Swans during his time here before he departed in a club record transfer sale to Manchester City.

The move to the Ethiad Stadium has never worked out for Wilf though and neither has this season's loan move to Stoke where he has scored just twice this season, naturally both of them coming against the Swans back in October.

Bony has been linked with a move to China but according to the Daily Mail he wants to prove again that he could cut it in the Premier League and could be available for a cut price fe of £15m - just over half what the Swans sold him for when he left for Manchester.

The Swans will almost certainly be in the move for a striker this summer with flop Borja Boston set to move on and Fernando Llorente also expected to depart for pastures new and the goals that Bony scored in his last time here will be a factor if we decide to make a move.

It would, you imagine, prove to be a popular move amongst the supporters as well who were huge fans of Bony when he was here first time around

Brave Swans in memorable game at Carrow Road
It was a pulsating game to watch and very much one of my favourite away games of the season. The Swans looked an entirely different side to that we saw at Middlesbrough when it is clear a catalyst for commitment was agreed behind the scenes at Swansea City. To a man every player grafted and wore the shirt with pride. To see the players really acknowledge the Swans support at Carrow Road this afternoon was emotional.
