Clement Nominated For Manager Of The Season
Ok so he may not have a chance against Chelsea manager Antonio Conte but the sheer fact that Paul Clement has been nominated as the Premier League manager of the season is an incredible achievement in itself.
When Clement was appointed at the start of January, the Swans were rock bottom of the Premier League with just 12 points from 19 games and everyone's clear favourites to be relegated.
18 games later, 26 points in the bag and safety assured with a game to spare, the stock of Clement is good and the decision made by the club's shareholders to appoint him is looking like an excellent one.
Swans fans now have the chance to show just how good that decision was by backing him as manager of the season on the official Premier League website where he has been shortlisted alongside Conte, Mauricio Pochettino, Sean Dyche, Eddie Howe and Tony Pulis.
It's quite an impressive list but one that states just how good a job Clement has done in his four months in South Wales and one that should see us backing him to the hilt by clicking the vote button as soon as we can.

Swansea City : The confusing decision making for a whole season It was a pretty poor end to what can only be described as a disappointing football season for Swansea City. The defeat to Millwall yesterday was a display that has frustrated Swansea City supporters all season. A lack of effort, intensity and desire rewarding the home support with yet another home loss.
Swansea City : Grimes misses a penalty in a return to bad old ways An error strewn and tepid Swansea display ensured thousands left the stadium before the staff and players did their usual walk around at this end of season game. It wasn’t a good look as two players received red cards and any effort by the home side was lost in a static and frustrating display.
Gwyn’s Eye View : Swansea City v MillwallGlyn is back with his favourite stats as we build up to the last game of the season. That comes in the form of Millwall who it seems are close to selling their requested 1,148 allocation, so its down to the Jack Army to do their bit this bank holiday weekend.
The fate today’s Swansea footballers would never have to endure Swansea City bring this season to a close on Saturday with a home game against Millwall. However, what about those bygone days when footballers had no choice but to go down the pit after their career ended, or open a toy shop, pub or retrain ? That thought would petrify todays modern footballer.
