Odds On - Derby County v Swansea City

This is your last chance to take advantage of our betting tips for today's game at Derby County - where do we see the value in the official odds?

It has not been a good week for the Swans so far with back to back home defeats to Norwich and West Brom and it doesn't get any easier as we travel to the East Midlands this weekend to take on Frank Lampard's Derby County.

Oliver McBurnie's opening goal in midweek was one of the few calls that we have had right in recent weeks but we can put that right in a game where Graham Potter will be looking desperately to stop the indignity of a third consecutive defeat dumping his side firmly in mid table.

We have again teamed up with the Swans official sponsors Bet UK to look through some of their odds for the game and picked out where we see the value in the odds that they are providing.

Clearly we go into the game as the underdog with Derby priced at 10/11 to win the game but that does suggest that there could be value in backing the Swans who have already won at some tough places this season. If you fancy that to continue tomorrow then you can back the Swans at 16/5 and that for me is possibly worth a small flutter.

Taking that particular bet a little further then I also like the odds provided for a 1-0 Swans win which is 11/1 and the same odds can be gained for Bersant Celina to grab the first goal - a mighty double there in the beckoning?

We generally try to avoid odds on bets where we can but over 10 corners in the game is available at 20/21 and you can see some pressure on our defence during the game - we just need to hope that we have learned to defend them better than we did in midweek if the other bets are to come off!

Final one for this week if the Swans to keep a clean sheet - available to back at 7/4 and after 6 goals conceded in two weeks then surely we have to be looking to be defensively tight.

Brave Swans in memorable game at Carrow Road
It was a pulsating game to watch and very much one of my favourite away games of the season. The Swans looked an entirely different side to that we saw at Middlesbrough when it is clear a catalyst for commitment was agreed behind the scenes at Swansea City. To a man every player grafted and wore the shirt with pride. To see the players really acknowledge the Swans support at Carrow Road this afternoon was emotional.
