Steve Cooper’s agent reported by The Sun at Selhurst Park
Alan Nixon, The Sun’s and ex Mirror football reporter has stated that Steve Cooper’s ‘ New Agent ‘ (but failed to name him) was in the Crystal Palace directors box in midweek.
Nobody seems to know who this new entity in Steve Cooper’s life is, indeed no photograph was taken as proof. In Nixon’s case you always have to read in to what he is saying, he often writes in generic terms using could, If or should as fall backs in his stories. Here is an example "If Palace are convinced the compensation should be no problem” And it’s odd, why would Nixon hold back on this information until today, four days later ? He would have been all over that story straight away. And he has allegedly deleted a tweet on the story too from what we can see.
Now we don’t disbelieve Crystal Palace have an interest in Cooper. We’ve reported genuinely on it this last week. We do know the owners want him but the Palace Chairman wants Dyche, we’ve again already stated that. However we are taking this with a pinch of salt, not to sprinkle over a slug but to add no flavour at all to an already salty dish.

Swansea City : The confusing decision making for a whole season It was a pretty poor end to what can only be described as a disappointing football season for Swansea City. The defeat to Millwall yesterday was a display that has frustrated Swansea City supporters all season. A lack of effort, intensity and desire rewarding the home support with yet another home loss.
Swansea City : Grimes misses a penalty in a return to bad old ways An error strewn and tepid Swansea display ensured thousands left the stadium before the staff and players did their usual walk around at this end of season game. It wasn’t a good look as two players received red cards and any effort by the home side was lost in a static and frustrating display.
Gwyn’s Eye View : Swansea City v MillwallGlyn is back with his favourite stats as we build up to the last game of the season. That comes in the form of Millwall who it seems are close to selling their requested 1,148 allocation, so its down to the Jack Army to do their bit this bank holiday weekend.
The fate today’s Swansea footballers would never have to endure Swansea City bring this season to a close on Saturday with a home game against Millwall. However, what about those bygone days when footballers had no choice but to go down the pit after their career ended, or open a toy shop, pub or retrain ? That thought would petrify todays modern footballer.
