TEAM NEWS : Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers

It was great to hear that the Swans have a few less players on the treatment table for today’s game. Jamal Lowe especially will be a threat and we hear he will play.

Team has at last arrived 👍

Swansea City: Carl Rushworth, Ben Cabango, Joe Allen, Matt Grimes (captain), Jamie Paterson, Josh Tymon, Przemyslaw Placheta, Liam Cullen, Nathan Wood, Kyle Naughton, Ronald.

Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Josh Key, Jay Fulton, Harry Darling, Jerry Yates, Jamal Lowe, Charlie Patino, Ollie Cooper, Bashir Humphreys.

Blackburn Rovers: Aynsley Pears, Callum Brittain. Harry Pickering, Dominic Hyam (captain), Sammie Szmodics, Sam Gallagher, Tyrhys Dolan, Scott Wharton, John Buckley, Andy Moran, Kyle McFadzean.

Substitutes: Leo Wahlstedt, Connor O'Riordan, Zak Gilsenan, Arnor Sigurdsson, Yasin Ayari, Dilan Markanday, Jake Garrett, Ben Chrisene, Billy Koumetio.

From official sources : Ex-Swan Ryan Hedges is touch-and-go after missing out in midweek, whilst Sondre Tronstad is also a doubt after picking up a knock to his ankle a week ago in the draw against Norwich City. Elsewhere, Hayden Carter, Joe Rankin-Costello, Sam Barnes and Harry Leonard continue to be sidelined and are definite absentees.

Both sides are on the same points with Blackburn ahead on goals scored only. This really is a big game for a Luke Williams. Team news at 2pm UK a time.

You won’t get anything of note from a football club during any transfer window unless it comes with a caveat that it is in their interest for certain things to be mentioned, proposed or even disregarded as a result of information given. Swans scrap it out to beat the Baggies
There were some worried looks when Swansea head coach, Vitor Matos announced his starting eleven against West Bromwich Albion, not least the fact he had no striker in the team. It turned out to be a masterstroke despite a fifteen minute period in the second half, and some uneasy moments at the end of this Championship fixture.
