Jusef bid hasn’t happened, plus the Swans have better targets in discussion

The Swans were linked by what people were calling credible accounts yesterday afternoon with Hammarby forward Jusef Erabi. We had information on this player two days ago so the guys who run our Twitter (X) account did their due diligence and trusting their work this is the low down.

As we have reported this week Swansea City are also tidying up two potential signings which we believe are far better than this suggestion. One will almost certainly be announced, but not before the season starts. Going straight to the eye of the storm we can reveal that no bid has been made for Jusef Erabi (below) despite so many accounts reporting so on social media. Caution was the first word then ‘No bid’ the second. Much the same as we cleared up with Marc Guiu who is now on loan to Sunderland from Chelsea it straight away set off alarm bells. To be honest we could have cleared this up without the extra effort but to qualify information takes a strict format here on the indy. Applying our system straight away we could see see some red flags.

Whilst accounts repeated and repeated the information yesterday it almost became fact with people discussing him as a potential Swans player. Our inquiries right at the heart of this in Sweden stated categorically that no bid has been made by any club for Jusef. However, they would not be surprised if Swansea City had sourced and reviewed him as he is a great talent. We also wouldn’t be surprised if he was a player of interest. You have to be mindful of these strangled reports much the same as we reported with Richard Kone and Oli McBurnie, now a Hull City player, the hope these journalists give people is unprofessional.

When will the Jack Army wake up regards these reports ? They should really be challenged instead of allowing them to get away with what basically is untruths in their daily reporting.

We are aware that the Swans have players who they are in discussions with that with all due respects to Jusef are in a far higher category and of a better standard. As we always have stated this information won’t be shared but the Richard Kone distractions as we reported two days ago has been of great value to Swansea City.

⚽️ Report —> Catch up on that here

The same outlets and social media accounts reported on the Israel player, Gabi Kanichowsky. He was on his way and sealed according to one account with hundreds of thousands of followers. That was so wrong and so incorrect, again it has to be embarrassing for those involved. As you can see when we broke this news first, he is not a Swans player. We could go on.

⚽️ Report —> No go for Gabi

We were told last night that the Swans are almost certainly aware of Jusef, and many more professional sources have stated that isn’t a surprise due to the ‘noise’ around him. Swansea they understand have some very professional resources in Europe which has secured the likes of Melker Widell and Inoussa, they are very well thought of, especially in Northern Europe.

As it stands there has been no bid, and as far as our sources are aware due to the work done on other players, unless that breaks down he is hardly likely to be under consideration at this time. MLS a player, Tani Oluwaseyi Is another example of a player being touted but he is most certainly not a Swansea target.

Liam reported on Monday that Kaelan Casey would be in Swansea on Tuesday night and again yesterday afternoon that his pending loan signing from West Ham was to be announced. Casey will travel with the Swans squad we are told for the season opener at Middlesbrough. Good journalism there whilst many have their heads distracted by news which is really not fact.
