One of my first memories as a tiny little kid as a little stocking filler for Christmas having an old vhs tape of John Virgo doing trick shots with John hollins and a big stunt man bloke called Rocky. My eldest lad who is now 27 has said to me on many occasions ‘remember the day Dad when I was little John Hollins walked with us and chatted all along Glamorgan Street to the car after a Swans game’.
A most humble and gentlemanly gesture from JH which has given my lad lifelong memories.

Always had a soft spot for Mr Hollins, part of the Chelsea team whose style of play in the early 70s and Cup success cemented my love of football as an 8 year old in 1970.
A man who went back to help his club to help them gain promotion back to the first division.
Was glad to see him come and be part of the Swans history.
