Qpr problems this season 12:35 - Mar 16 with 811 viewscmbann

Neil Warnock was a great manager at championship level but was a fish out of water in the premier ! He realised until it was too late that he didn't have enough quality in the squad. Good luck to Neil with Leeds ,we will probably be facing them next year in that division.
Sparky is a good manager but i was surprised he couldn't attract a couple of midfield generals into the squad!
Players that have surprised me are Joey Barton although he can't cover the whole of midfield.Wright Phillips and Taraabt are great talents but they often do more damage than they create.Wright -Phillips must be told to get the ball to the front players and i would ban him from shooting(he won't score this season )
Taraabt confidence is shot to pieces. Anton Ferdinands distribution is awful,

Paddy Kenny is steady. Clint Hill and Shaun Derry have big hearts but are probably waiting for calls from Leeds.

Qpr are in transition again - only a miracle can save them - but it has been great following their journey this season.Next season will have problems with parachute wages - still we are not down yet so some faith left until it is a numerical fact !

This cheese rule is getting flouted far too often for anyone's liking.

And while people keep saying Warnock was a 'fish out of water' in the Premiership, we were higher up than we are now when he was unceremoniously dumped.

QPR - "shit but local"

I don't want this to be seen as negative towards Mark Hughes but Neil Warnock should never of been sacked.

The only thing you could say is that he was asking for trouble when he signed barton. I know most fans wanted him and thought he would be the best thing since slice bread but Joeys ego has come at the highest cost.

Although saying all the above I don't blame Tony and amit for doing it.

The only reason I thought it was a good thing was because I felt Mark could attract a higher calibre of player.

In my view, the opposite of what we expected has happened with Barton.

We thought he was a good player but feared he would be running around like Genghis Khan, upsetting the morale of the squad, causing feuds and scuffles and getting Rangers into all sorts of trouble with "the authorities" and such like.

In reality, he has been very average on the pitch but the off field problems have not materialised.

RFA

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Well that's the (aptly for your avatar)conundrum,we were actually playing better stuff under Neil with "inferior" players imo.I was one of many on here who argued against changing horses in the middle of a stream.

I thought we were actually playing some lovely stuff up to December, the problem was not converting chances into goals. Faulin organised mid field beautifully and played even better than expectations.

I suspect something went wrong internally after the West Brom game. We stopped playing the ball on the deck and gaining ground, and resorted to falling back with sideways passes and then hoofball.

I can't think of any game under Hughes that can be said to be of the pre December quality, but then again, there's been so much disruption, it's not surprising.

At least the idiot Directors have gone, so it's not all been bad this year.

Why does it feel like R'SWiPe is still on the books? Yer Couldn't Make It Up.Well Done Me!
