Peterboro - Harry; What have we learned? 10:39 - Jul 14 with 2506 viewsBirminghamR

Faurlin is both committed and can make things happen - unlike Mbia who appears disinterested (falling down alot)
Johnson is up for it too and puts himself around
Simpson wants the ball and shows good attitude - a good buy
Traore: a no of mistakes, giving ball away any one of which could result in a goal in a real match
Jenas is the best foil for Faurlin in midfield - he runs box to box and covers.
Park: what is he for? -He has work rate but he does not tackle, playing wide he does not have skill or speed to go past his man, he does not run through past the front man to present a goal threat (a la Lampard). What he does do is run round and cover space - bit like shy kids did at school games who wanted to look busy on the pitch but who did not want to get noticed.
SWP - as above. Makes nothing happen. We know this already so why persist?
if we want to support the strikers we have got to have players wide who can make things happen
Hoilett looked good and up for it.
Taarabt - Harry, Warnock found a way of handling him - why can't you Harry? Surely with the combined managerial nous of Jordan, McLaren and Bond you can handle mercurial players. What a waste if he is loaned out!
Zamora - did he jump for a ball? Not too sure.
Leaving Harriman out sends all the wrong messages.
Thats about it.

Thank you for this, it pretty much tells us what Harry must already know.
Hoillet needs to play to build up his confidence. he looked good enough to buy in Blackburns battle for relegation, it's 'cos he always got a game.....he's the first player to be dropped at QPR and we continually see Park, Mackie, SWP, get a start spot.
Hoillet has a future, and he should be played.
Remy, Hooper, Townsend, Jenas, Faulin, Hoillet, Simpson, Onuoha, Hill, Troare, is an option within the £12 Million budget, Traore could and probably should be replaced but there's goals in this side and plenty of pace.
No Remy, I think Mackie could play up top alongside Hooper.

I didn't see the Peterborough game, did Mackie do anything in it? He was pretty useless in the Exeter game. On previous form he should have something to offer in the Championship, unless he's lost it. He needs to up his game, I think and hopefully he is capable of doing that.

What we learned yesterday is with that team of sh*i bags we are going nowhere therefore the board will have to put their hands in their very deep pockets and fund signings. Sign players and then sell the parasites. The parasites at our club are using the idea that we have to sell first, to engineer large pay offs.

We will end up with a better team in the Championship then we had in the Premier League.

In relation to Warnock handling Taarabt so why can't Harry. That was thee years ago, since then Taarabt has become more spoilt and unruly. Warnock had to persuade the other players to shut up for the sake of the team. Do you think that would happen again especially with Adel being even more frustrated?

I think we should use the £12m from Samba to negotiate settlements with all the useless players we can't shift, sell anyone we can find a taker for and use loans to fill in any gaps until January if we can't sign the right players in the limited time we have left.

If we can get Crouch or Hooper to supplement the strike force, another centre back and left back that should do us really.
