Corinthian Casuals eh ? If we beat them, we're at home to Royal Engineers or Clapton Orient.

It was like watching the first team tonight especially when Corinthian Casuals scored direct from a corner. Decent game and a decent performance against admittedly not the strongest opposition. Tidy finishes from Talla and Anthony for their goals. Our No.7 (Adomah) showed promise but isn’t quite ready yet - could do with a loan spell in League 2. Attendance 136 but looked like more.

Dartford away next round.

Do we think Adomah will be retained in some capacity next season in a coaching role.

This selection in this game suggests it could be under consideration perhaps..

Brentford B team got knocked out btw. Thought that might bring some joy. If we beat Dartford, we play the winner of Cray Wanderers or Fisher.

On the plus side, that is a very young team (Adomah aside): lots of 18, 19 and 20 year-olds getting experience in a competitive game against - in theory - bigger men.

On the minus side: the opposition are absolutely rotten. They have won three games out of 23, regularly get hammered and are second bottom of a division three steps below National League level, so...

Still, can only beat what's ahead of you.

Went to Fisher Athletic back in the day for a first team friendly , may have been Ollie in charge ?

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Probably Dogan Arif.
Last time R's played Cray in the late nineteenth century Cray ran out 10-0 victors I believe.

Cray won, so we play them in the Quarters if we beat Dartford.

This would be great. A semi-Final in Mile-End. Unfortunately they play at the athletics stadium which of course has a running track so not a brilliant place to watch football but you’d hope there’d be a decent crowd and good atmosphere. And only a 15 minute walk from the Palm Tree one of my favourite pubs in the whole of Londinium.

For those interested in next weeks game v Dartford, its unsurpisingly pay on the gate, no tickets in advance. If you are unfamiliar with the area, its easy to get to the ground. You can get the train to Dartford station and then a direct Fasttrack Bus takes you up the hill

I do believe there is parking at Dartford FC but not sure how much

Anyway, several of us going so be good to see some from here too
