Going well this year. Flying high in the county championship and in the 20 20 finals today. Takes me back to the glory days as a nipper watching Barry Richards Gordon Greenidge and Malcolm Marshall.

Barry Richards was simply IMO the best batsman ever, superb timing .Superb talent. If only he could have been allowed to show his talents on the big stage for South Africa .I used to love watching him and Gordon Greenidge open for Hampshire at Northlands Road .

Hampshire’s 9 th 20/20 final’s day , let’s hope they can win it for the third time.

I'd be happy if they got through to the final having lost the last 5 semis. I stopped going after the fourth one.

If you haven't got Sky you can watch it at https://hd.crichd.run/sky-sports-cricket-live-streaming-hd-62 (but you have to close a lot of ads).

Not sure about the decision from Vince to bat first but hopefully they prove me wrong

Brilliant finish. Hampshire are great at holding their nerve. It reminded me of the 2010 final, which we won on the last ball by losing fewer wickets.

I'd love it if we could now go on to win the County Championship one more time.

Surrey will take some stopping but Hampshire’s attack is top drawer this year

I fancied that one myself, great ground the college at Cheltenham

Warwickshire away is Hants last match of the season, 2 trophies won at Edgbaston on the cards

I’m looking forward to the London cup games coming up at the Rose bowl ( refuse to call it the Ageas)

Those were the days. I remember (vaguely) being present when the first two of those put on 360 for the first wicket in a game at Bournemouth (?). Think it may have been a one-dayer.
