Spot on, I felt completely detached from all of the ‘celebrations’, standards and expectations have been ‘managed’ down to such a low bar now. Brighton and Brentford had a plan to turn themselves from nonentities into premier league clubs, our owners took over a premier league club and have turned us into nonentities celebrating not getting relegated to the third division. |

Two shots on target. 9 of critchley’s 12 games as manager have yielded two shots on target or less. That to me is the most damning stat of the lot. |
| News Comment | Kane strikes back at critics as Rangers roll on - Report at 19:41:07
We’re starting games with only one creative player on the pitch (chair) which is easy for opposition teams to nullify. Don’t think it’s coincidence that in recent games we’re finishing games better than we start, which is the opposite of what was happening before when we started games with more creative players on the pitch. I can see the logic against the top sides, keep it tight for an hour, but it seems strange watching Charlie come off just as players more capable of creating chances are coming on. |

Stan told the story of how Brian Williams once said to him and Gerry Francis “I think it’s really clever, the way you two use me as a decoyâ€. Stan replied, “Brian, the reason we don’t pass to you is we don’t think you’re very goodâ€. |

The fifth paragraph may be one of the best you’ve written. Mincing around in your own half and around the centre circle is nothing to be proud of, opposition centre halves must be laughing, thinking ‘we are getting paid to watch this?’ |

Can’t agree that Washington “messed up the square ballâ€, eze should have struck it first time into the empty net. If the roles had been reversed and eze played that ball to Washington and he missed it he would have got pelters and rightly so. |

Lee hoos has said that the club budgeted for finishing tenth this season, why? Holloway has never achieved that position in all his time at the club, he also was one defeat away from getting us relegated (again) last season. Are the club ambitious? Do they have their sights on at least the top half of the championship? History tells us that is not going to happen under Holloway. |
| News Comment | Terry Venables, my first hero — Column at 16:45:51
such a pity Jim Gregory didn't appoint him straight away after losing dave sexton to Man Utd. he would of known how good a coach he would become as by all accounts venables was very instrumental in the training sessions whilst at rangers as a player. |

Great interview. Agree on modern day footballs poxy obsession with possession, chuckle brothers football, 'to me, to you'. Mind numbingly boring. I reckon some of our defenders told Adel tof off up the pitch" too! |
| News Comment | QPR fall to ten men on Redknapp’s Bournemouth return — report at 00:27:42
There was a moment at the end of the first half when we were attacking Bournemouth, we were inside their penalty area, instead of creating an opportunity to take a shot at goal we managed to pass the ball all the way back to rob green. In the last twenty minutes we were losing 2-1, against ten men, and Camp hasn't had to make a save. It's been like this far to many times this season, the problem is so obvious yet harry seems incapable of doing anything about it. Possession for the sake of it. We had 57% and got 5 shots on target, they had 43% and managed 8 on target. |
| News Comment | Late Doncaster goal floors lame QPR - report at 00:55:26
"a half-empty, soulless, out of town stadium on a retail park, devoid of character and totally silent for the majority of the game, was a perfect setting for this absolute dirge." I do hope those words aren't used to describe future home games given the Kendal avenue talk this week. |
| News Comment | Does Mackie sale tally with QPR’s ‘right sort’ rhetoric? at 14:37:34
He wasn't shown the door, he asked to leave because he felt he wasn't given enough chances. Here's another fact for you. Of all the forwards and midfielders on our books, only Mbia, Granero and taarabt started more league games than Mackie last season. |
