As I see it, there's really only two outcomes with him. Either a) he turns it all around and becomes a potential squad player who can contribute something or b) he carries on as he has done for the rest of his contract and is released.
He's not going to just walk away, he has a contract. Paying off his contract will cost as much as paying him every month but will load all that cost into one FFP year. No point in that.
Don't spend the summer thinking about him, it won't change anything. Forget him and move on. He was a mistake and he won't be the last. Sh1t happens.
For once, I think he has been bold. Leaving Grealish and Maguire out is quite ballsy for him. I think he's done a good job here, albeit he should have had the on-form Solanke rather than out-of-form Toney as the Kane backup.
Some 40 or so years ago, when we were in our late teens my best friend died. He was a haemophiliac who was given the contaminated Factor 8 that you may have seen in the press recently. They infected him with HIV. Over a month or so we had to watch him fade away in a bed in Hammersmith hospital. Bright, talented and funny. Such a waste and all out of nowhere.
What it changed for me was my perspective on life. I became less outgoing, I stopped being a risk taker, I stopped being the one 'making thing happen'. Maybe that's just growing up but I never forget how precious life is and that wasting it is the saddest thing.
Sensible move from Sky. Recover some of the costs and create an advert on free tv for the product. If ITV get some decent games it could work well for them both.
Problem is that they can't. The expansion of the european competitions has taken extra weeks out of the available calendar. If a team in one of those uefa competitions is drawn against one in another uefa competition then there's no week to hold the match. They'd have to put out a second team like Liverpool had to a couple of years ago.
It might cause more issues in later rounds too but they've pushed that problem down the road.
EFL Cup for EFL teams. Prize is a day out at Wembley and a place in the Europa Conference. What's not to like?
"For League Matches only, the Away Club shall be entitled to a commission representing 5 (five) per cent of the aggregate sales (exclusive of VAT) of tickets sold on behalf of the Home Club, unless otherwise agreed between the Clubs."
Not a year but this already exists. Cameron introduced it I believe. It's called NCS and is done over a few weeks for 16 year olds. My kids both did it. https://wearencs.com/
This nonsense they are talking about today just shows how clueless they really are. It's unworkable and everyone knows it. It's just to take attention away from their awful start to the election campaign. Don't fall for it.
