We all love our music....
at 17:53 10 May 2024

I have total respect for anyone who makes music of any genre
It’s something I’d loved to have done

Those who play instruments to a “professional level” take my total respect to another level
That would have been the pinnacle to me

What attracts to certain bands etc? I don’t think you can put your finger on that but for me it’s gotta have a groove and drag you in.

On your second question - as above I find it hard to dislike musicians but I’d shy away from certain genres like heavy rock, folk, thrash metal, euro pap and also Irish music as I’m sick to death of it!!!

Sorba Thomas is a great shout.

Always rated him but as you say probably bigger fish swimming around him and I suspect on a fair wedge.

For probably about the tenth year in a row I am saying one of the pre-requisites for all of our targets needs to be - PACE! We lack it in so many areas.
Also, enough of this bollox about players needing to have to have something wrong with them to be playing for us!! Sick of that.
Get fit, pacey, robust players who can trap a ball, pass it and shoot at the rectangle thing with a big net behind it. A keeper that can catch and move faster than a stoned snail would also be nice.

Hammersmith Town Hall a few days later was absolute carnage
Can’t recall how I got hold of our tickets but whoever decided to give out free cans of Stella at that didn’t have their thinking head on.

Christ they were halcyon days….. from the depths of darkness Ollie built us back
So good

A tight 20
at 22:20 8 May 2024

I have been known to talk about one particular tune heard in a club for well in excess of 20 minutes on the way home
It might be me repeating the same sentence over and over again and I might be assisted by intake but still…..

Then of course 20 minutes is ONLY 3 and a bit plays of Tears by Frankie Knuckles on loop so not that long at all really

If true I'd imagine he'll be a candidate for the Brum job?

They appointed Rooney so maybe they'll actually go for the fella who pulled the levers and pressed the buttons for that fat puppet????

I think he's alright

I’m disappointed he didn’t go out on loan in January; let himself and us down there.
Having said that; wish him all the best

I’d say he had a handful of decent games for us but only ever really looked comfortable playing as the third man on the right of 3 centre backs. As others have said he was always 100% but just came up short positionally etc

Good luck to him

Agreed.

The lad is superb.
I do find myself continually shaking my bald head in disbelief when I read some our fans criticising him and saying he doesn’t release the ball quick enough.

Put players at his level around him and I think he’d be even better

Midlands Beach Party - Coventry Versus QPR Match Thread

Seen a lot of noise in this vein and “justic for Eustace”

I get that but…..

Then there’s stuff, totally factual, on how Brum expected to survive with our previous problem children

Well…. Take a step back people
It was Eustace who signed all those problems bar Agent Dozzell
Maybe exQPR bods were on a mission day dot but I sort of can’t give Eustace too much slack here; thank fcuk we didn’t hand him the keys .

No matter.
Brum drop. All good

I am quite frankly amazed that Willock put a shift in the end of the season
Maybe clubs weren’t actually queuing up to sign him as his Dad thought they would?!?!

Martí is a magician for getting a tune out of him as I was sure he’d sack it off and glide into a “free” transfer elsewhere

Can’t see Willock here next season and I’m a tad gutted.
Two seasons or so ago you’d have said £10mill and he’s yours. Now he leaves for zilch.
When he’s on it he’s an absolutely brilliant player, one I am happy to pay to see. However I’m not sure his heart has been with us for some time now

Oh well

Was a fierce critic of JCS before but…. Credit where it’s due…. He has been fantastic after Martí bedded in and his partnership with Cookie did remind me of Richard Dunne and Ned at times

Fair play that man
