How people still be dismissing climate change as man made, despite all the evidence to the contrary, is mind boggling.
No one denies that the climate has changed previously, the issue now is how quickly these changes are happening. Average global temperatures have risen over the past 100 years, that is a fact, but the rate of climb has accelerated over the last 20 (this is mainly due to the industrialisation of developing countries).
Those on the hard right that deny climate change would, I think, want to slow that change as it will increase migration. So to reduce migration you'll need reduce carbon emissions to slow global warming.

So what's it to be? More oil equals more global warming and results in increased climate immigration or accept that climate change is real, switch to renewable, and help reduce climate immigration?

Walsh as number 1 next season. Use the wage from Begovic for a striker.

Careful what you wish for regarding PR. The small parties are usually extreme/hard left or right and getting only a few seats can give them a disproportionate amount of power when it comes to supporting larger parties forming a government.
Across Europe we have countries that now have extremist parties in or close to power. Will France be next? 16% of 16 to 24 year old in Germany voted AdF.

However, in the UK we have a system that ensures stability and we should be thankful we have that despite all its faults.

Oh, and the Europeans have historically always loved a man in a silly military uniform with loads of medals.

The immigration arguments, both for, against or limited, are really interesting.
Our country, though, is not alone with the conundrum of a longer living population coupled with a falling workforce/tax contributions to provide care. This debate is going on worldwide.

The one thing I don't understand though is the lack of guilt in this country, regardless of political leanings, to taking health care workers from low income countries such as The Philippines. These workers are badly needed in their own countries, yet we are quite happy to poach them to fill our own needs.
The right love it as they are cheap, the left love it as it Saves the NHS.

Absolutely. It's Ainsworth at its worse performance. Any team with a half decent midfield will beat Germany.

5-1. I'm angry at the Scottish performance and I'm not even Scottish. Those players should feel utterly ashamed.

Sorry, not having it that Germany look amazing etc. This Scotland team is utter crap and an absolute embarrassment.
My son said after only 10 minutes that even QPR would beat Scotland.

I cannot believe how bad Scotland are. Both those goals were utter shite to concede.
They play like England 30 years ago. Win the ball, then whack!

Be nice if Scotland could string 3 passes together, they look awful. And there is 2-0.

Scotland don't look a yard off it, they are 2 or 3 yards off it. Embracing.

Totally agree about Ferdinand being a late bloomer. That loan in Beskitas made him, and then got 2 goals against that load down the road on his 23rd birthday. He was clearly a good player when we signed him from Hayes.

However, there is one massive difference. Ferdinand did that in the PL, or Div 1, Armstrong can't get ahead of Dykes or Frey. MC even tried Kelman before Armstrong!!

Hopefully we get another (bloody) striker in and sell Armstrong off quick. He doesn't want to be here, else he would have signed a new deal. Something Ferdinand did several times.

Anything more than zero is good for us. Let's not forget, he was bought for a minimal fee, so any profit is a win.

As a club we need to think like this. And Armstrong really isn't that good.

Really not bothered if we he goes. I know some on here have said that he is no longer offside, but that should be a basic.
I can't see a footballer there. Yes, he'll bully some centre backs, but any with any experience deal with him. He wasn't first choice for a reason, and that meant being behind a non scoring Dykes and Frey.

Grab the money and run.

Harry Murphy and Casey Shann sign new deals. Don't think I've heard of either of them. Anyone?

Not to impressed with those prices. £18, come on. I'll end up going, but has piss@d me off.

Hopefully Farnham away with the Development team is cheaper!
