I think it is a bit far to say he was brilliant for us. I agree he was better than most we have since he left, but he has his weakness. For a big bloke he was weak on crosses and didn't command his area, and beaten easily on long range shots. I hope we can expose these on Saturday. |  |

But will give a special mention to Tom McAlister, who came on loan at the end of the 1989 season, he was a great organiser and communicator to the back four, which made his job much easier. Think Davidson was very much in the same mould . | |

Tom McAlister! Finally a keeper I saw play! He was tremendous for us at the back end of that 1988/89 season. | |
