Now that the window is shut I'm not quite sure what to make of it all. Samba and Remy are clearly excellent but very expensive signings and the others are okay but not going to massively improve what we have.
The thing that really concerns me is how the squad knit together. If the rumours are remotely accurate, Diakite was touted all over France, Mackie was offered to Stoke and DJ will be gone when the loan market opens. Couple that with the fact that a few players will know Harry tried to replace them in the widow (eg Derry & Park) and I'm a little worried that the spirit shown this month by the first team will be damaged by a raft of new players coming in again. Hill & Derry must just sit in the dressing room and gently shake their heads at it all!
I suppose moving a number of players who were unhappy out on loan, like Anton and Cisse may help heal certain fractions but Redknapp has a busy day ahead tomorrow to get us ready for Norwich.
He may not be start but I'd love to see Holt not bully our defence AGAIN on Saturday. If they both play, I'd love to see Samba throwing him around instead!!! |  | | |  |

Hill & Derry will still be on decent cash it's just the constant upheaval. I know we have to get some new players in but it's just constant changes every window. For 5 years now we have had 5 or 6 new players in every window and probably a new manager every other window. It's crazy really.
God I hope we stay up, clear the decks of those players we don't want and start to re-build our reputation as a football club!! | | | |

the cover for these players is pretty poor to say the least and a lotta luck we have improved but so has everyone else and they have the points
if we go down we MUST do a wet spam and bounch straight back or we will sink like a stone
