Pundits like shearer berating referees for getting things wrong when he gave it as good as it got when trying to sway a ref.

Managers moaning about game changing decisions when there teams spent 90 minutes without scoring a goal, or sometimes not even coming out of their own half.

Tv punditry has become was that a pen/offside/free kick etc. now they’ve got VAR there still moaning. Refs have got no fing chance with pkayers rolling around and acting like someone strangled their dsughters kitten because they didn’t get a throw.

Me thinks referees are sniggering muttley style.

I met and got talking to Martin Atkinson once and two things he said stuck. Decisions made by refs is all instictive and any technology to help them they would gladly take.
