He didn’t know the Paraguayan passport was fake ?? He’s a Brazilian national, why would he need another countries ID document ??
Which reminds me, Asuncion/Paraguay is one helluva scary place. I was at Iguazu Falls on the Brazil/Argentina border in 2000 and decided to catch a 5 hour bus to Asuncion on a whim. The Paraguayan border city of Cuidad Del Este at the time was known as the most crime ridden place in south America. We walked over the bridge into Paraguay and saw a customs shed in the middle of a roundabout. We walked in thinking we needed to get a passport stamp. We woke some bloke up who then demanded $25 US for the stamp. We then got our bus to the capital. The bus was weird in that the engine was exposed and was in the middle of the seating area. With it being 30 degrees outside the bus was like a sauna inside. Then some woman got travel sick and spewed over the engine….I cannot begin to describe the smell. When we got to the capital we headed for the tourist office outside the bus station. We were accosted by two blokes sat on their car bonnet offering ‘ dollars, women , hashish cocaine ’… I may have been tempted except they were wearing police uniforms !! We found some digs and then went into a travel agent next to the hotel and booked the first flight back to civilisation in the morning which was Montevideo,Uruguay.

We got robbed on one trip to Brazil on five separate occasions. My sunglasses were stolen off my head at one point and one of my brothers had his beer stolen out of his hand.

People with literally nothing.

I forgot Paraguay existed.

I'm not sure I believe he had a falsie. Anyone over 25 who watches football wont forget those knashers even if he changed his name to Chingiz Chuv from Astraknan they are like a signature.
