Great news about the signing of Park and Diakati and the season long loan of
Da Silva, but I am slightly worried that we have not yet tied down Adel to a new contract, especially as his present contract has only a year to run, and he has indicated he is keen to stay at the Club. The signings we have made so far are great, but we need to get Adel signed as soon as possible, as well as trying to get rid of some of our fringe players as our squad now looks too large, especially as it looks that further signings may follow. Does anyone know why Adel has not yet signed? Are the Club prepared to release him if they get a good offer, in view of the signings they have made. Don't get me wrong, I am very pleased and grateful to the Board for all the new signings. I am just worried that we might lose Adel. We certainly need to offload some players (not Taarabt, hopefully) as our squad now looks overloaded, but I think we will find it difficult to offload players such as DJ, Hulse and Bootroyd for decent money, as I believe there will not be many clubs prepared to pay much for them. | | | |

That is very encouraging news. However, where would Hoilett play if Taarabat stays, bearing in mind all our new signings and our current playing staff? We seem to have an abundance of good midfielders, Fraulin, Taarabat, Diakite, Park, Traore, Derry and er------- Barton! That seems to be too many to keep everyone happy, especially if we add Hoilett to the mix. | | | |

Couldnt agree more.Having combination of Park,Faurlin,Samba and or Barton in midfield means theres no shortage of ward-running/tackling,which like Dylan saud,would maybe give him a little more time and space to do hes magic.I also think having Hoillet or Jarvis on a wing with a bit of pace is maybe the one type of player we dont have.Cdel and his ability to make the perfectisse's quick and makes great runs,as does Johnson,and with a pacey winger as well can only be good for Adel and his assists | | | |

Would expect Park, Faurlin & Diakite to be nailed on for 3 of the 4 midfield roles. If Hoilett were to sign then IMO it would leave Taarabt in a role off Zamora. Cant see Cisse hanging around off the bench though... | | | |
