Lets not forget the fact 13:18 - Jan 18 with 307 viewskingo

MK are not a typical div 1 side, they play very similar to Swansea and keep the ball a lot, even if this means going sideways or backwards. This is very difficult to breakdown, especially if you are tired after playing 48 hrs earlier. We basically put out a Championship side plus SWP, Anton and Young and it showed we didn't have the quality to make them look second best. But MH is working on bringing in some class and we have to look at that game as a very hard training session that showed MH lots and will benefit him in his strengthening and got us into the next round of the cup.

well ian wright thought we would get beat and they had their chances but your right it was a good chance for mh to see where he needs to strengthen and we are in the next round so not all doom and gloom.

Ian Wright is possibly the worst 'pundit' around, can't get over his issues with us even though his son is playing in the team. Last nights views reminded me of the Swansea match, everytime MK passed the ball it was awesome but when we did it all they commented on was how the move broke down.

I thought MK Dons were ok but their football was a bit too hyped up, apart from a five minute spell when they had a few corners I couldn't see them scoring. We were rubbish and they still couldn't beat us

Agreed, they played like Swansea and had lots of possession but only had two clear cut chances with Macdonald in the first and Ibhere (how did he miss that) in the second. The game showed that Derry, Hill, Mackie, Bothroyd and Macheda can't all play in the same side as they are simply not quick enough in thought or over the ground. Although Gabbidon scored and played better he usually treats the ball like a hot potato.
