It was Crouch's first start of the season. So he is 1 for 1 this season. That aint bad, even if it was against Tranmere.

How is it that Hughs is managing in the Premiership> How is that possible??? I know, I know .. preaching to the choir!

He's doing alright aswell (the cnt) !

Mind you, he has mainly someone else's established team.
Proves the point that he is a conman and a parasite.

Hughes has walked into an established Premier League club, a safe bet.

Wish I could be like David Watts

So what? are you suggesting Crouch wouldn't be good enough for us?

He's not had a lot of game time for Stoke recently, so those 35 games will include a lot of sub appearances.

I'd also like you to name any striker we've had in recent times who would have got 1 in every 2 games for England (with over 40 caps).

One of your daftest posts.

you have CHOSEN to select the best way possible to give the illusion his strike rate is poor. You have conveniently chosen 35 games, (as 36 games ago he scored two in the match). you have also chosen 35 as he went through a poor run from Oct-Jan last season when he didn't score - conveniently ignoring the fact that out of the 17 games he played during that period, he only started and completed 5 of them. I could use statistics and say he has scored 3 goals in his last nine games and out of those nine his total playing time equated to 7.5 games, thus he has scored 3 goals in his last 7.5 games which is an excellent strike rate. I again have chosen a a sample to give the illusion he is very prolific.

To give a fair analysis, he has scored 39 league goals in the past five seasons whilst starting 141 games. a goal every 3.6 games. A very decent record.

But you keep trying to use manipulated stats to justify your inane ramblings...

Interestingly Holloway, Crouch has scored 1 more goal than Danny Graham has in his last 35 games.

Not exactly a goal machine is he?

Are you incapable of making your own opinion or is what the BBC and the Daily Mail writes just immediate gospel to you??

And as for your comment- that's his current form-, actually if you went on his CURRENT form, most current form tables are based on six games which would have him as very prolific, unlike your BBC quoted stats.

God gave you the ability to form your OWN opinions - its one of the many things that distinguishes us from sheep.

Use that ability once in a while... You might actually find it enlightening

My god some people are touchy. Ripped into him?? im suggesting he uses his own opinion rather than believe everything he reads. It might be interesting! The whole point of a message board is to voice opinion and debate differing ones. He wont agree with me, and will tell me why, i wont agree with him and will say why- with passionate reasoning if I feel strongly about it. . Its hardly pistols at dawn... god this world has gone soft

0
crouch scored today on 20:23 - Sep 26 with 2665 viewsHollowayRanger

crouch on loan would be ok depending on fee paid and wages paid

crouch signed would be a massive gamble

how much he cost £2mill - £5 mill
wages £30,000-£50,000
length of contract 2-4 years

now IF he was got on a free with a wage of say £30,000 on a two year deal ID SAY YES

but highly unlikey

Have been thinking about this. Thinking back to Hughes' second season at Rangers we actually didn't look that bad for the first 10 games or so, I remember a lot of comments on here that we'd been a bit unlucky, results could just have easily gone in our favour, chances missed etc. The longer we went without putting the chances away any confidence the side had started to ebb, Hughes lacked the man management skills to keep things together and with a new cobbled together side and some dodgy characters, there wasn't any fundamental unity to tide us over. Hughes is still an arrogant tw*t and not nearly as good as he thinks he is but things could have been very different had we got a few deserved results in those first 10 games.

Someone else had a pretty good game ...Ricardo VazTe. Wasn't he left out of WHAM's 25 man squad?
