LFW takes a look ahead to this weekends fixtures in the Coca Cola Championship.

Normal service is resumed this weekend following last week's reduced programme, due to FA Cup clashes. What a weekend it was for the Championship clubs too, with West Brom, Cardiff, Barnsley and Sheffield United, all still in the hat for the quarter finals.

Which brings me nicely on to this week and last weeks giant killers, Barnsley, travel to Carrow Road to face Norwich who will be looking to get back to winning ways after falling to a 4-0 defeat at Leicester last week. The Foxes this week, travel to the Ricoh Arena to take on Coventry, who unveiled Chris Coleman as their new Manager earlier this week.

Fellow cup quarter finalists, West Brom, will hope to get their league campaign back on track with a home game against Hull. The Baggies have dropped to 4th in recent weeks, leaving the way clear for Stoke to storm to the top of the league following their exciting 3-2 win over Scunthorpe last Friday. The Potters have an attractive looking game against 6th place and very much in form, Ipswich at the Brittania.

It's a tough looking weekend for those at the bottom, as Colchester take on Bristol City at Layer Road. After their extremely unlucky cup defeat against Portsmouth on Sunday, Preston have a tough looking trip to second place Watford. Sheffield Wednesday take on Cardiff with two new signings in former R's loanee, Ben Sahar and of course, his Mum.

Bottom club Scunthorpe have a great chance to make some ground up and if results go for them, they will climb out of the bottom three if they beat free falling Southampton at home.

There are also 3 re arranged fixtures next Tuesday as Rangers travel to Barnsley, Burnley take on Coventry and Preston take on Stoke.

LFW's Preview of QPR v Sheff Utd will be on line tomorrow night.
