Will check out Doves (no definitive article) if they are better, according to some, than Elbow because Elbow is about as up to date as I get. In fact as I get older I find my musical tastes reach back to the 50s and Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Chet Baker often accompany me on trips to Spotland.
