They’re tweeting that their “matchday operations” are being restricted for the home game against Barrow on Sunday for reasons that they don’t want to divulge at the moment.
The bottom line is that the crowd capacity is limited to 920 and there will be no cash admissions on the day.
Wonder what that’s all about?

"I worked for the stadium company for 6 years. This was when the football club only owned 45% of the stadium. On a Monday morning after a rugby match I would know that I would face abuse from Russ Green CEO and David Bottomley a Director I welcomed the opportunity to correct them It was not difficult. Now that they own the club it can only be worse. They are totally different people but the pathetic behaviour remains. "

That's an interesting post in there in that it names 2 names. Unless the poster has used their real name at the top of the thread it risks being taken down.

Fair play to that poster going into that organisation for so long knowing their Monday blues would be made even worse if Hornets had played at home.

Of course this forum has never mentioned Bottomley by name😊😊😊😊

Saves me buying bog roll on the way home from work.

Disappointingly, one of their flyers was waiting on my doorstep. On it, their twitter handle is @rochdalehorents. You'd have thought they'd have registered the name rochdalehornets instead. Or perhaps Horents is the name of the new company....

No rules about putting your own name to posts naming people on here.

Happy to help.

If it is the case that the football club have removed the Hornets memorabilia.
Then indeed IMO it is a a cheap shot.
I hope this was passed by the board and not done unilaterally.
Im sure there will be one or two questions re Hornets at the fans forum.
Lets hope our board have all the answers

Is there a chance the forum could be 'hijacked' by question regarding the rugby? Might it be worth a Q and A with a member of the board or even the chairman on accusations being levelled or would that be giving the claims unnecessary creedence

When they get their own stadium they can display whatever they want. The stadium is owned by Rochdale AFC so why should they have their memorabilia displayed?

I’m sure their Chairman would love a huge picture of himself when they finally fook off.

May be splitting hairs here, but do we know the football club removed the memorabilia, some of which has been there an absolute age?

Don't forget that the Trust published the minutes of a meeting with the board in April that said all tenants were now operating within the agreed terms of their lease. This is a more recent development, along with the removal of all things Hornets downstairs.

Questions do need to be asked and answers published for all to see in order to stop this endless bickering.

That last line is vital. Would fully expect that to happen, we have to continue the impressive transparency that we’ve all come to expect over the last year.

It looks like a Crime has been committed here… is that from the base of operations in the office on the right facing our ticket office?

There is a concierge team at the bottom of the stairs on matchdays and I am sure they would have raised the alarm if someone walked in wearing a striped top & a swag bag….

Having been all round upstairs and have never seen a trophy cabinet… maybe it’s the same mob that robbed Bury 🤷‍♂️… call the cops

There is a difficulty making public details of a private contract. However, there have been some unacceptable comments from those who refuse to pay attention to what the club has already made public, added to those rugby fans whom openly support Morton House and spew out financial status comments remarkably similar to the billious content espoused last summer, makes me think why bother?

It's a shame it's gone. If it's true then it highlights a wholly unacceptable trait in former management.

No doubt our admin will be pressured to delete it.

It’s three years since I was in the hospitality areas at the COA but but in those days if you went upstairs from reception and turned left towards the 1907 bar there were some display cabinets in the alcove before you turned left again towards the toilets. There used to be some Hornets memorabilia in there so presumably that is what is being referred to?

For somebody that claimed they worked for the Stadium Company for 6 years, he seems to conflate the fact that Denehurst Park Stadium was managed as a separate business to RAFC. Maybe he wasn't good at his job?

Anyhow if you have an agenda and all that....

As for memorabilia being removed - has anybody questioned whether that was an act of the rugby club rather than RAFC? Maybe they have moved it for safe keeping or for display in Balderstone? Just asking in the fairness of balance rather than the accusations being made.

What it is about people from Leigh who run rugby clubs?
The owner of the Centurions is all over Twitter offering to fight someone who criticised something he said!
