The other says a home game against someone who will fill the away end and drag in revenue regardless of the result.

I see Halifax Town are a potential opponent as well I imagine that tie would fit the second criteria. With the potential for TV money due to the A List owners perhaps Wrecsam although the last time we played them wasn't exactly entertaining. Perhaps York away for a good day out. Is the whole reelection controversy regarding Altrincham still a thing, or was it never really one? | |

It got me wondering about how a ref travelled from Preston to Spotland at the end of August 1921.
I did some very rudimentary research and seems the railways were well established.
