Thread | DALE BAR - open after today's match!

Just to let you all know.... if you don't wanna go home after the game today?, then the DALE BAR will be open 5pm-6.30pm on production of Family Charity Night ticket or a small donation.
The charity event itself is in Ratcliffe Suite @ 7pm (doors open 6.30). Tickets are still available from club shop OR you can pay at door.

From experience as a former.Trust board member... under my tenure trust events had historically been very poorly attended on club premises rather than external venues... so you've got go with what the public wants, otherwise you end up hosting an event making a loss & infront of one man and his pint! I can confirm we previously hosted a trust race night at Midland Beer Co., which had raised more than double what was raised at a similar event we hosted in Studds Bar. Also let's not forget the highly popular Curry On Up the Dale events, which of course weren't hosted on club premises.

As a former trust board member I personally feel there is definitely a conflict of interest (not really the ethos of a supporters trust), however the current trust board arm's (whom all do a magnificent job) probably are tied if there's no volunteers out tthere within our fanbase.

To my knowledge we don't have any season ticket holders in block U & from recollection ive never seen any reserved stickers in that block.
I'm a block U regular, however not by choice my season ticket seat is in block V (don't sit in). I can.confirm the ticket office informed me on TWO occasions they couldn't sell s/t's in block U, due to.high profile/category A games as the block would be closed.
I'm not happy if the club, have since sold season tickets In my preferred block... no consistency at all just sums up our club! |

AFC Wimbledon have already played at the new Wembley! My sources inform me it was a friendly game v's Corinthian Casuals (AFC won 8-1, as it was set-up as a test event for the new stadium. |

Actually the cheapest train fare from Rochdale to Morecambe (return) is £18.30
You simply buy TWO return tickets at the same time aka Martin Lewis splitting train tickets (you can stay on same trains):-
Rochdale-Bolton (return) = £3.90
Bolton-Morecambe (return) = £14.40
TOTAL = £18.30 (saving a whopping £2.40)
