I have echo Chaff.
I live away from Rochdale and have a young family so I cannot invest the time into travelling back and forth to watch Dale anymore. But it's not only that, I found myself today not the slightest bit interested in watching the game online or even how the result went. I knew we would get beat and it feels like it's been the same for about 5/6 years straight.
The pretty football isn't even pretty. Its shite. We let so many goals in and its been the same for years.
Jim clearly doesn't know how to change the game. He sticks with a 4-4-2 beginning until end, and it simply does not work. And for his post match interviews... they are just pure waffle. The other week he mentioned Man City had lost 3 in a row... do me a favour. |

Sounds daft but a postponement isn't the worst thing.
Horrific weather which would just turn the game into a shitshow, and it gives us another few days to get a player or two fit.

Another game where we want to play at a snails pace and we get caught out. As soon as they scored the 2nd, we showed urgency and scored a good goal straight away. Funny that.
Not sure how Mitchell gets goals because his all round play is abysmal. Jez may as well have been in a deck chair.
Sinclairs end product was mostly poor but at least he gets on the ball and is positive.
Maidenhead were terrible by the way. |

Clayton, Gilmour and East were excellent. A real pleasure to watch them keep the ball and break the lines over and over again.
Thought Sinclair was quiet. And Afoye abysmal when he came on.
Other than that, comfortable performance where we should have had 3 or 4 at least. I'm not sure how Mitchell went from missing from 4 yards to smashing one in from 25. |

I think we'll see a different game on Tuesday at Woking. Last season they were direct and more of a percentage team. It might even suit us more than Ebbsfleet and Oxford who soaked up pressure and tried to break at pace.
I dont understand the negativity about yesterday to be honest. We controlled the game and won with ease. |

Watched from home today.
Thought the first 10 mins were chaotic with Oxford having a good go at hitting us on the counter. We then took control without troubling the keeper for the rest of the half.
2nd half was better and we should have had 2 or 3 at least. The new winger from Chesterfield looked brill when he came on. Like a non league Mendez-Laing from our league 1 days.
I'm struggling to see what Afoye offers yet. McDermott looked nervous to begin with but soon got his passing going. Overall, a comfortable win against a side that will struggle this season.
If we control games like that this season then we'll win more than we lose. |
