T20 results have been awful since half way. No Livingstone for several games now and an inability to build on relatively good starts. Same again in danger of happening tonight. Butler plays one game then doesn't play. Why? |

Had Mancini been the England manager against Italy we would have won last years final. Southgate for all his personal likes isn't up to it at the highest level. He doesn't know how to best use what is a very talented squad at his disposal.
Had Venables or Hoddle been in charge of this bunch we probably would have already won something. |

Its poor when a club on the up decides to become all billy big boots and look down on others just because they are in a good place at the moment. I hope this is just lazy reporting rather than a deeper inbuilt attitude at the club.
Let us not forget others who had their moment in the sun and have since faded away. We thankfully have never got above our station which is one of the most enduring things about us and the very reason we are all fighting to stay the club we are. |

I think when he was taking and scoring penalties in the 2012 Olympics, we all had high hopes for him. I think he was unlucky at WBA, very well thought of by the fans before he finally broke into the first team after several managers and 3/4 seasons as a bit part player. |

Yes pace was his downfall as he has everything else. I am sure he would be better out of Watford, so pleased when they went down as the owners deserve it given the hire and fire approach |

Whilst the sentiment is clearly justified, its not up to Villa to referee the game. Too much at stake. However it is staggering that VAR didnt intervene. Easy to say after the event, but Oliver could have asked VAR to look at it and then checked the monitor himself. He is the referee right! |
